Gentle laser skin revitalisation in Darwin

Laser Genesis

Calm selected facial redness and gradually improve fine lines, pores, scars and overall skin quality with a gentle laser treatment that leaves the surface intact.

How this treatment can help

A clearer, smoother-looking complexion with minimal interruption

Laser Genesis is designed for clients who want gradual skin improvement without removing the surface or planning significant downtime. It may help soften diffuse redness, refine enlarged-looking pores and uneven texture, and support smoother-looking fine lines and selected scars.

As the handpiece moves over the skin, rapid pulses of 1064 nm laser energy build a comfortable, even warmth below the surface. This controlled heating targets microvascular redness and supports the skin’s natural collagen-remodelling response while the outer layer remains intact.

Our experienced laser team decides whether your concern needs gentle Genesis warming, precise treatment of individual vessels, or a different resurfacing option. A course is often recommended because change is intentionally progressive, with your skin’s response reviewed between appointments.

Your treatment experience

What the treatment process looks like

01

Before

Avoid tanning and disclose medicines, active skincare, pregnancy, recent procedures and sun exposure. The skin is cleansed and protective eyewear is fitted.

02

During

The handpiece moves continuously across the area while micro-pulses build an even warmth. You should report any sharp heat or discomfort immediately.

03

After

Mild flushing or warmth can occur and usually settles quickly. Use the advised skincare, avoid excessive heat initially and protect the skin from sun.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions, answered clearly

These answers explain the general experience. Your consultation is where we confirm what is appropriate for your skin, health and goals.

Is Laser Genesis ablative?

No. It heats selected dermal targets without removing the epidermis, so recovery is usually lighter than CO2 resurfacing.

How many Laser Genesis treatments are needed?

A course is commonly used because the treatment is gradual. The number and interval depend on redness, texture, scarring, skin response and whether other treatments are combined.

What does it feel like?

Clients usually describe progressive warmth similar to sun on the skin. It should remain tolerable; tell us immediately if any area feels sharply hot.

Can it remove broken capillaries?

Genesis may improve diffuse redness and microvascular change, but visible discrete vessels often need targeted Excel V+ settings. Assessment decides which approach fits the vessel.

When will results appear?

Some clients notice early glow or calmer-looking redness, while collagen-related change develops gradually over weeks and across a course. Individual results vary.

Is there downtime?

Visible downtime is usually minimal, but temporary flushing, warmth, dryness, swelling or sensitivity can occur. This is still a medical laser treatment with possible burn and pigment risks.

Personalised professional care

Experience matters when treatment is personal

Our qualified and experienced team starts with what concerns you, then selects the treatment, technique and settings around your skin or body—not a one-size-fits-all menu.

Laser Genesis is not suitable for every concern or every client. Burns, blistering, pigment change and scarring are uncommon but possible with laser treatment.
