Personalised muscle sculpting in Darwin
truFlex Muscle Sculpting
Strengthen, firm and define selected abdominal, oblique, glute and thigh muscles with a personalised treatment that creates powerful, controlled contractions.
How this treatment can help
Build stronger-feeling muscles and more visible definition
truFlex is designed for clients who want to complement their exercise routine by improving muscle tone, firmness and definition in selected areas. It can work several muscle groups in one appointment, with a program shaped around your body, baseline fitness and goals.
Adhesive pads deliver electrical stimulation that makes the targeted muscles contract repeatedly. Prep, Tone and Sculpt modes create different contraction patterns, while the intensity builds gradually to a strong but manageable level.
Our experienced body team chooses the pad placement, mode, intensity and course for your anatomy and comfort. truFlex focuses on muscle—not weight loss—so we will also explain when fat reduction, exercise, physiotherapy or another pathway better suits what you want to change.

Your treatment experience
What the treatment process looks like
Before
We review medical history, pregnancy, implanted electronic devices, metal, surgery, sensation, skin integrity, exercise and the actual muscle goal.
During
Pads are placed over selected muscle groups. Intensity is increased gradually while Prep, Tone or Sculpt contractions run in a programmed sequence.
After
Muscles can feel as though they have completed a strong workout. Resume activity as advised, hydrate normally and report unexpected pain, weakness, numbness or skin injury.

Your questions, answered clearly
These answers explain the general experience. Your consultation is where we confirm what is appropriate for your skin, health and goals.
Does truFlex burn fat?
truFlex is designed for muscle stimulation, not direct fat reduction. truSculpt iD is ABI’s separate radiofrequency body-contouring treatment for selected subcutaneous fat.
How many truFlex sessions are needed?
Cutera case examples commonly use four to six sessions. Your course depends on baseline muscle, goal, response and whether treatment is combined with regular exercise.
What does it feel like?
The pads produce strong repeated muscle contractions. Intensity should feel powerful but tolerable and is adjusted throughout treatment.
Can it replace exercise?
No. It may supplement an aesthetic body plan but does not replace resistance training, cardiovascular exercise, nutrition, medical care or rehabilitation.
Who may not be suitable?
Implanted pacemakers or defibrillators, certain metal or electronic implants, pregnancy, recent surgery, impaired sensation, wounds and some medical conditions can rule out or postpone treatment.
When will I see a change?
Some clients notice a stronger feeling during the course, while visible tone develops gradually and depends on baseline anatomy, body fat, exercise and response. Individual results vary.
Personalised professional care
Experience matters when treatment is personal
Our qualified and experienced team starts with what concerns you, then selects the treatment, technique and settings around your skin or body—not a one-size-fits-all menu.
Electrical muscle stimulation is not suitable for everyone. It should not be used to diagnose or treat pain, weakness or a medical condition without appropriate healthcare assessment.
