Prepare
We review allergy, pregnancy, medicines, cold sores, active skin conditions, recent procedures and home products. Pre-peel pigment or barrier preparation may be required.
Apply
The selected formula is applied in controlled layers while the skin response is monitored. VI Peel product remains on the skin for the directed period and comes with specific take-home steps.
Peel safely
Use the supplied products and instructions, do not pick or pull shedding skin, avoid unapproved actives and protect the skin from sun while the barrier recovers.

How much will I peel?
Visible peeling differs by formula, skin and preparation. Some clients flake lightly; others peel more clearly. Lack of dramatic sheets does not necessarily mean the peel failed.
When does VI Peel start peeling?
Manufacturer guidance describes flaking from about day two and more visible peeling around days three to five, usually easing by day six or seven. Your actual timeline may differ.
Can I pull off peeling skin?
No. Pulling can tear attached skin and increase inflammation, pigment and scar risk. Let it shed naturally and follow the provided cleansing and moisturising instructions.
Who should not have a VI Peel?
The manufacturer lists pregnancy or breastfeeding, certain ingredient allergies, recent isotretinoin, active cold sores or wounds, chemotherapy or radiation and some immune or liver conditions among contraindications requiring professional review.
Can a peel treat melasma?
A peel may be part of a melasma-control plan, but it does not cure the condition. Overly aggressive inflammation can worsen pigment, so sun protection and conservative maintenance remain essential.
Can I use retinol after the peel?
Not until the skin has recovered and we tell you to restart. Using retinoids, acids, scrubs or other actives too soon can injure the healing barrier.
