Controlled collagen-induction treatment
Skin Needling
Improve selected acne scars, enlarged-looking pores, fine lines and uneven texture with professional microneedling tailored to your skin and concern.
How this treatment can help
Support smoother, firmer-looking skin through controlled renewal
Professional skin needling can gradually soften the look of selected scars, refine uneven texture and pores, and support smoother, firmer-looking skin. It is especially useful when you want collagen stimulation without ablative laser resurfacing.
A device with fine sterile needles creates thousands of controlled microchannels at a planned depth. Your skin responds by repairing these tiny treatment zones and remodelling collagen over the following weeks and months.
This is very different from using a home roller. Our experienced therapists control the needle depth, number of passes and treatment endpoint for each area, while sterile technique and appropriate aftercare protect the healing skin. A course is often recommended because collagen change is gradual.

Your treatment experience
What the treatment process looks like
Before
A consultation reviews skin, scar type, medicines, cold sores, infection, scarring history and sun exposure. Active skincare may need to be paused and topical anaesthetic is allowed time to work.
During
The skin is cleansed and a sterile cartridge is used in an organised pattern. Depth and passes vary across the area; pinpoint redness or bleeding may be an expected endpoint.
After
Use only the advised products, keep the area clean, avoid makeup and strenuous heat for the directed period, do not exfoliate or pick, and protect the healing skin from sun.
Frequently asked questions
Your questions, answered clearly
These answers explain the general experience. Your consultation is where we confirm what is appropriate for your skin, health and goals.
How many skin-needling sessions will I need?
A course is commonly recommended because collagen remodelling is gradual. Scar depth, treatment intensity, skin response and other procedures determine the number and interval.
Does microneedling hurt?
Topical anaesthetic is commonly used for deeper clinical treatment. Sensation varies by area and depth; you may feel vibration, scratching or sharpness.
What will my skin look like afterwards?
Redness similar to sunburn, warmth, mild swelling, tightness and pinpoint marks are common. Dryness or light flaking can follow. Recovery is longer after deeper treatment.
Can needling treat active acne?
It is usually used for established scarring, not over inflamed pustules, cysts or infection. Active acne should be controlled first to reduce flare and infection risk.
Can microneedling cause pigmentation or scars?
Yes. Post-inflammatory pigment, infection, prolonged redness and scarring are possible, particularly with excessive depth, poor hygiene, sun or picking.
When will I see results?
Early smoothness may be noticed after healing, but scar and collagen change develops over weeks to months. Improvement rather than complete scar removal is the realistic goal.

Professional skin needling carries infection, pigment and scarring risk. Correct selection, sterile technique and aftercare are essential.
