Permanent hair removal
Multi-Needle Galvanic Electrolysis
Permanent removal of unwanted facial and body hair—including blonde, grey, white and red hair that laser may not effectively target.
How this treatment can help
Permanent hair removal for every hair colour and skin tone
Electrolysis is ideal when you want to permanently remove individual unwanted hairs, particularly on the face or in areas where colour, fineness or hormonal growth makes laser unsuitable. Because it does not depend on hair pigment, it can treat every hair colour and every skin tone.
Katy places a fine sterile probe into the natural opening of each selected follicle. A small galvanic current creates a controlled reaction that treats the hair-growth cells, allowing the released hair to slide out without force.
Multi-needle electrolysis allows several follicles to be treated at once. Katy plans your appointment length and treatment course around the area, density, sensitivity and natural growth cycles, giving you a clear pathway from early reduction to finer maintenance visits.

Your treatment experience
What the treatment process looks like
Before
Allow enough visible hair for the practitioner to identify and remove. Avoid methods that pull the hair from the follicle before your visit, and disclose medicines or recent skin procedures.
During
Fine sterile probes are placed into the natural follicle openings. Galvanic current creates a controlled chemical reaction, after which correctly treated hairs slide out without force.
After
Temporary redness or small raised areas are common. Follow the written advice and avoid unnecessary heat, friction, sweating, sun exposure and irritating products while the skin settles.

Frequently asked questions
Your questions, answered clearly
These answers explain the general experience. Your consultation is where we confirm what is appropriate for your skin, health and goals.
Is electrolysis permanent?
Needle electrolysis is recognised as a permanent hair-removal method because it destroys the growth cells of correctly treated follicles. A course is still required because hairs are treated individually and appear in different growth cycles.
Does it work on blonde, grey, red or white hair?
Yes. Electrolysis does not rely on pigment in the hair, so it can treat colours that laser may not target effectively, subject to area and skin assessment.
Why are repeated appointments needed?
Only visible hairs can be treated, and follicles cycle through active and resting stages. Density, hormones, previous hair-removal methods and individual growth patterns all affect the total program.
What does electrolysis feel like?
Most clients describe brief heat, tingling or a small pinch. Sensation varies by body area, current level and individual tolerance. The practitioner adjusts treatment within safe and effective parameters.
Can I wax or pluck between visits?
Usually no, because methods that remove the hair from the follicle leave nothing visible to treat. Clipping or shaving may be suitable between appointments, but follow the plan given by your practitioner.
What is the difference between electrolysis and laser hair reduction?
Electrolysis treats individual follicles and can work on every hair colour. Laser targets melanin in many suitable hairs at once and provides long-term hair reduction rather than guaranteed removal of every hair.
