Cutera Enlighten III picosecond and nanosecond laser system

Advanced pico laser treatments in Darwin

Cutera Enlighten III

One advanced laser with specialised options to fade multi-coloured tattoos, reduce selected pigmentation and improve suitable texture and acne scars.

How this treatment can help

More treatment options for the colours and concerns you actually have

Tattoo ink and skin pigment can contain different colours and sit at different depths, so one wavelength cannot effectively address every target. Enlighten III gives our team three wavelengths and both ultra-short picosecond and nanosecond pulses to select from.

For you, that versatility can mean more precise treatment of selected tattoo colours, a brighter and more even-looking complexion with Pico Genesis, or fractional Pico Genesis FX treatment for suitable pores, texture and acne scars.

Our experience determines how that technology is used. We first identify the target, assess your skin and understand the outcome you want, then choose the wavelength, pulse and delivery method. You never need to decide which laser setting or handpiece to book.

Your treatment experience

What the treatment process looks like

01

Identify the target

Tattoo ink colour, benign pigment, scar pattern or skin-quality concern is assessed along with skin tone, medical history, tan and previous treatment.

02

Choose the delivery

We select the wavelength, pulse duration and whether a full-beam or Micro Lens Array approach is appropriate for the target.

03

Plan the course

Tattoo removal, pigment treatment and Pico Genesis have different session numbers, intervals, endpoints and aftercare. Your plan is reviewed over time.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions, answered clearly

These answers explain the general experience. Your consultation is where we confirm what is appropriate for your skin, health and goals.

What makes Enlighten III a picosecond laser?

The system can deliver ultrashort picosecond pulses as well as 2-nanosecond pulses. Short pulses create a strong photoacoustic effect that fragments selected pigment with less reliance on prolonged heating.

Why does it have three wavelengths?

Different tattoo inks and benign pigments absorb different wavelengths. The 532, 670 and 1064 nm options broaden the colours and depths that can be addressed.

What are Pico Genesis and Pico Genesis FX?

Pico Genesis is a skin-revitalisation approach using picosecond energy for selected pigment and overall tone. Pico Genesis FX uses a Micro Lens Array to create focused dermal disruption for selected texture and acne-scar concerns.

Can Enlighten remove every tattoo?

No laser can guarantee complete clearance. Ink composition, colour, depth, density, location, cover-up layers, skin response and treatment history all affect results.

Can it treat melasma?

Enlighten may be considered in carefully selected melasma plans, but melasma is recurrent and can worsen with heat, irritation or sun. Treatment must be conservative and combined with strict trigger and pigment management.

How much does treatment cost?

The technology is used for several very different services, so there is no single device price. Tattoo, pigment and resurfacing treatments are quoted according to area, time and plan after consultation.

Personalised professional care

Experience matters when treatment is personal

Our qualified and experienced team starts with what concerns you, then selects the treatment, technique and settings around your skin or body—not a one-size-fits-all menu.

The device has multiple applications, but not every option is suitable for every person. We determine suitability, preparation, treatment settings and aftercare.
